About Jeff
Jeff Price is President and Inspector of Elections at HOA Elections of California, Inc., an independent inspector of elections firm that has served California community associations since 2006. He has more than 20 years of experience in community association elections and has completed thousands of HOA elections for associations across California.
As an independent inspector, Jeff's job is to make sure an election is run the way the Davis-Stirling Act and each association's election rules require: that notices go out on time, that candidates are qualified and nominated correctly, that the secret ballot stays secret, and that every ballot is received, held and counted under the inspector's custody.
That work covers the full election cycle, from the first Call for Candidates to certified results. It also covers the situations that go wrong: missed quorum and adjourned meetings, challenges to candidate eligibility, recount requests, and elections that have to be re-run.
